As part of giving back to the community, WSTBA members volunteer in community service projects each quarter. Past projects have included: cleaning and painting the picket fence at Hope House in Covington, picking up and donating groceries to the Food pantry in Covington, landscape maintenance at the wildlife refuge in Lacombe, and entertaining senior citizens at the Windsor Senior Living Community in Mandeville to name a few.

Honoring our Senior Citizens

Our members recently had the privilege of entertaining some of our great senior citizens at the Windsor Senior Living Community.

About Windsor

Volunteering to make a Difference

As our nation pauses to honor our Military Veterans, members of the West St. Tammany Business Alliance (WSTBA) gather to fill packages for 70 soldiers stationed overseas. While the members come together on a weekly basis to expand their business leadership skills and exchange referrals, they gather quarterly to give back to the community. WSTBA members, some who served in the military, recognize the importance of receiving packages with needed items when you are away from your family and friends. The members took the time to not only purchase the items that would go into an individualized packet for each soldier; they also asked family and friends to write letters of encouragement so that each soldier would receive their own letter. The boxes will be shipped out in time for the soldiers to receive them before Thanksgiving.
